Agios Thomas consists of two sandy beaches which are the closest to the village of Karavados and is 15 km away from Argostoli, the capital of Kefalonia. The first beach is small with soft sand and right above it there is a picturesque tavern.

About 25 minutes by car from Fiscardo. Drive to Manganos and turn right at the crossroads. Follow the sign for Chalikeri. Wend your way downwards for about 10 minutes. You will come to a T junction. On your left, there will be a couple of green wheelie bins. If you carry straight on, you will go to Alaties beach, so take the left past the bins. Stay on the main tarmac road and follow it! It ends at Agia Jerusalem.

The beach of Agia Kyriaki is located close to the picturesque village of Agonas, in a distance of 18 km from Argostoli.

Along the coast from Sami towards Agia Efimia one can find several bays for swimming; first and largest of them is the beach of Agia Paraskevi.

Alaties Beach (Salty Beach) is a fairly hidden and thus unknown beach, located in northwest of Kefalonia. The intersection for Alaties Beach is located on the main road from Argostoli to Fiskardo, in the settlement of Maganos.

The beach of Ammes is found in the beautiful village of Svoronata, close to the airport, and located 9km from Argostoli. It is a small sandy beach with crystal shallow waters. It is popular in Kefalonia and preferable from many locals and foreign visitors.

13,5kms from Ag. Efimia, and just after the port town of Sami is a well organised beach with umbrellas, beach bars and watersport facilities. Enjoy its calm crystal waters, taking in the views of the surrounding mountains.

Aragia beach is one of the beaches located in Poros, southeast of Kefalonia.

A beautiful, well organized beach with fine golden sand in Southern Kefalonia, featuring a beach bar, sunbeds and umbrellas, showers and a lifeguard. On the horizon, you can see Dias islet and Zante island.

The beach became famous through the movie “Captain Corelli’s Mandolin” with the name “Pelagia Beach”. The beach was used in the film poster and in the first scene of the movie.

After Foki Bay, Emblisi is the next closest beach to Fiscardo. Not an easy walk as it consists of a fair uphill trek on both legs of the journey.

A picturesque and easily accessed beach within a five minute drive from Fiscardo that consists of small strips of pebbles with a stunning view to the crystal clear waters. An olive tree forest comes down to the beach offering natural shade to the visitors.

Next to the cosmopolitan beach of Makris Gialos, in Lassi area is the small beach of Gradakia.

Another beautiful beach with warm and shallow waters in southern Kefalonia awaits you. Kaminia Beach is located near the village of Ratzakli and is visible and accessible through the road to/from Skala.

Near the village Thiramonas shortly after Lourdhata village there is the beach of Koroni. The sandy beach is ideal for those who prefer to enjoy swimming in calm and quiet blue waters.

The beach has dark orange sand, is very gently shelving, with a calm, warm sea and very safe (good for those who are not strong swimmers)

The Koutsoupia Beach is a tropical beach and relatively unknown to the average visitor of Kefalonia.

Between the villages Havriata and Chavdata is the Lagadakia beach. It is an unorganized pebbly beach with deep cool waters. It is about a beach suitable for scuba diving.

Lepeda beach is at the south of Lixouri, 2 km away. It is a sandy beach with red sand and crystal clear waters.

Limenia beach is located 45 km east of Argostoli, the capital of Kefalonia. Driving from Skala you to the port of Poros, you will meet a nice chain of beautiful beaches, ideal for those who prefer some privacy and relaxation.
